The natural product extraction process is the process of extracting, separating and purifying the chemical substances that make up the organism by using the principles and methods of chemical engineering. It has the following characteristics: 1. Multidisciplinary, involving biochemistry, botany, microbiology, organic chemistry, natural medicinal chemistry, chemical engineering, chemical principles and other disciplines; 2. Complexity, a wide variety of biological materials, a biological material often Hundreds or even dry compounds are included, some in very small amounts in the material. 3. Natural products are unstable, and many compounds with physiological activity are easily denatured and destroyed once they leave the body.
As a persistent pursuit of becoming a leader in China's natural product extraction industry, Jiangsu Tiansheng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is committed to fully exploiting the activity of each natural product, using the best technology to retain its active components. On the basis of inheriting traditional separation and purification methods, Tiansheng Pharmaceutical has also been actively learning and exploring new technologies and directions.
The following is a summary of some new separation technologies developed in recent years and examples of application cases:
l, resin adsorption separation technology
The development and utilization process of extracting active ingredients from licorice, green tea and other plants using macroporous adsorption resin and ion adsorption resin has been industrialized. The polar adsorption resin is used for treatment, which plays the dual role of adsorption and decolorization, making the process simple. Product appearance and quality have been significantly improved.
2. Supercritical fluid extraction technology
Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is a natural catechin extracted from green tea. It has good antioxidant properties and can be widely used in food, medicine and cosmetics. Using the traditional solvent extraction method, its products have the defects of poor purity and high solvent residue, while the EGCG obtained by the supercritical fluid extraction method has good color and high quality.
3. Chromatographic separation technology
The biggest feature of chromatographic separation technology is high separation efficiency, which can separate various substances with very similar properties. Chromatography has developed into an extremely important part of the separation and purification technology of biological macromolecules, natural products and chemical synthesis products.
4. Microbial fermentation and enzymolysis technology
The microbial fermentation enzymolysis technology has the following characteristics: ① The reaction conditions are mild, and it is carried out in a temperature and system close to the physiological environment, which will not cause inactivation or denaturation of biologically active substances; ② The degree of reaction is complete, and specific enzymes act on specific enzymes. It can fully transform the target components; ③ there is no residual organic solvent problem; ④ it can remove a large number of impurities, making the separation process more economical; ⑤ easy to scale up and operate continuously. Therefore, it is widely used in the separation and extraction of products in the fields of biochemistry and biochemistry, natural active products, etc.
With more and more types of products conforming to modern natural products, such products are more and more popular with consumers, we have every reason to believe that the development potential of the natural industry is huge.
