Tune electronic equipment

Adjust Color: Adjust the background color of the display to light apple green.

Adjust the position: adjust the position of the monitor to keep the height slightly lower than the eye level. It is best to use a viewing angle of 10~15 degrees downward. The distance between the eyes and the screen should be kept more than 50 cm, so as to ensure that the screen will not stretch when looking at the screen. Neck or eye fatigue.

Adjust the light: The ambient lighting should be soft, pay attention to light sources, sunlight, reflective surfaces and luminous objects that cause reflections, and at the same time, pay attention to the position of the screen, so that no light reflection can be seen. Computers should not be placed across or behind windows. The light from the computer screen monitor should neither be too strong nor too weak.

eye care

Do simple eye exercises: such as rolling the eyeball up and down, blinking at least 20 times, pressing and rubbing the temples and other acupuncture points around the eyes; look at the distance (at least 5 meters away) for a few seconds, and then look at the tip of your nose for a few seconds. Repeat this several times, 3 to 4 times a day; blinking more often can make the tears turn into a layer of "tear films" and spread to the cornea, making the eyes more comfortable and effectively preventing dry eyes.

Press the eyeball: With your eyes closed, gently press the eyeball with the end of your index finger, middle finger, and ring finger, or you can rotate and rub. Do not last for too long or press hard, stop after about 20 seconds.

Hot and cold compresses: Dip one towel in water that's a little hotter than your bath water, and the other in cold water with ice cubes added to it. Put a hot towel on your eyes for 5 minutes, then a cold towel for 5 minutes, alternating twice.

Diet protection

Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and usually drink some teas for clearing heat and detoxification, clearing liver and improving eyesight, such as chrysanthemum tea, wolfberry tea, etc., and drinking more water to replenish water, etc.

Other considerations

Do not use your eyes continuously for more than 40 minutes: If you use your eyes for more than 40 minutes at a time, you should take a 10-minute break, look into the distance, or close your eyes to rest for a while, so that your eyes will not be easily tired and dry.

Do not use eye drops indiscriminately: most of the common eye drops contain preservatives, mainly to prevent the eye drops from deteriorating in contact with the air after the first use. If the eyes are only dry and tired, ophthalmologists generally use artificial tears without preservatives.

It is best to choose anti-blue light frame glasses when looking at the computer for a long time: because anti-blue light lenses can also block some harmful blue light damage to the eyes, do not wear contact lenses, because it will reduce the number of blinks, and looking at the computer for a long time will aggravate the symptoms of dry eyes.
